Anyone who is a free software enthusiast can join FSFans. However, it would be better if you could use GNU/Linux reasonably well or have a good understanding of the GNU philosophy.
You do NOT have to be a tech expert in order to join FSFans. Also, using 100% free software is NOT a must for a member of FSFans.
Discourse
Discourse is a free and open-source Internet forum software. Features include support for categorization and tagging of discussions, configurable access control, live updates, expanding link previews, infinite scrolling, and real-time notifications.
Our discourse site is hosted at forum.fsfans.club.
You can't register an account directly on our discourse. An invitation is required from other members.
Please note, we're having trouble delivering to outlook since they have a strict spam rule.
Matrix
You may also want to join our group chat on Matrix for more interactive communication.
Matrix is a decentralized messenger protocol that enables you to chat with your friends securely with no one else able to listen in. One of the most common Free Software implementations of Matrix is Element.
You can join our Matrix community at #fsfans-cn:vern.cc. If the space doesn't work with your client, you can join the chat room at #fsfans-cn-chat:vern.cc instead.

Tired of bloated messengers? Consider joining our IRC channel to enjoy simplicity.

Or you maybe want to use XMPP (formerly called Jabber). Yes, we do have it bridged together!
Our XMPP chatroom is hosted on `4Ø4 CITY 存在しない都市', the ID of which is fsfans-cn@chat.404.city.

Unfortunately, you can't find FSFans anywhere else. All the official ways we communicate are listed above.
Members of FSFans might chat with each other on other platforms, but those platforms do not represent the official FSFans community.
Please note that we will especially NOT use QQ or WeChat which don't respect user freedom and privacy. A Telegram group is not considered; Matrix makes it unnecessary.
